  REGIONAL PORTFOLIOS OF CARICOM HEADS OF GOVERNMENT
  A quasi-cabinet of individual Heads of Government has been constituted to spearhead action in sectors critical to the Region's integration and as a vision of development into the Twenty-First Century.

 1  During the Informal Session of the The Thirteenth Special Meeting of the Conference (4-5 April 2008, Trinidad and Tobago), following prior consultations by the Secretary-General with the Prime Ministers of Saint Lucia and Belize, Heads of Government agreed to reassign this portfolio to Belize.

 2  During the Informal Session of the The Thirteenth Special Meeting of the Conference (4-5 April 2008, Trinidad and Tobago), following prior consultations by the Secretary-General with the Prime Ministers of Saint Lucia and Belize, Heads of Government agreed to reassign this portfolio to Saint Lucia.

 3  The area of Transport was re-assigned to the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the Fourteenth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference (14-15 February 2003, Trinidad and Tobago), given the importance of that sector to the development of the Community (in particular, its strategic links to the tourism industry) and in view of the substantial work undertaken by that Member State on regional transport matters over the past several years.

 4  At the Twenty-Fourth Meeting of the Conference (4-7 July 2004, Grenada), Heads of Government agreed to allocate lead responsibility for Energy to Trinidad and Tobago
