The twelfth consecutive issue of THE GUYANA ANNUAL magazine was
 launched on Labour Day, Saturday May 1, 2010, at the Theatre Guild,
Kingston, Georgetown, Guyana.

WORKSHOP ON TEENS  AND  CYBERSPACE

 On Saturday 13 March 2010 the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the Marian Academy held a Workshop on “Teens and Cyberspace” in the Auditorium of the school. The Workshop introduced the participants to safe, healthy and useful on-line activities. The Workshop was facilitated by Dr. Halima-Sa’adia Kassim, specialist in gender and child protection, Mr. Derrick Agdomar, expert in integrated information systems, Mr. John Campbell, sports expert and physiotherapist, and Mrs. Riane de Haas-Bledoeg, culture specialist, all working at the CARICOM Secretariat.
